Lisa and I would like to welcome you to Wedgwood the Restaurant. What an exciting time it's been for us recently – starting in January last year with being named the UK's Best Up and Coming Restaurant by Harden's Restaurant Guide, followed by receiving the Fodor’s Choice Distinction Award in June – only three other restaurants in Edinburgh have achieved this. At the end of October we were then awarded Restaurant of the Year 2010 in the Under £35 category at the glittering Scottish Licensed Trade News Awards as well as being named in the Top 10 Foodie Destinations in Scotland by The Sunday Times. And now I’m looking forward to May 2012 when I’m being flown over to Barbados to represent Scotland as Head Chef at the Celtic Connections Festival. All very exciting and a great honour. The Daily Telegraph were also kind enough to mention us just before Christmas as one of the two places to dine out in Edinburgh.
January Opening
Wedgwood The Restaurant will be closed from the 2nd of January to the 26th of January. The restaurant will reopen on the 27th of January. All of the team would like to wish our customers a happy and healthy 2012!
Wedgwood named Restaurant of the Year - Again
Wedgwood the
Restaurant has just been awarded Restaurant of the Year 2011 by Scottish
Licensed Trade News (SLTN) for the second year running.
In
a glittering awards ceremony at Glasgow’s Hilton Hotel, SLTN announced the
winners of this year’s accolades and Wedgwood the Restaurant on Edinburgh’s
Royal Mile was named Restaurant of the Year 2011 in the under £35
category. We are thrilled at the news and all credit goes to the fantastic team that we have here.

We have also been featured in the high profile Relish Scotland Cook Book along with a number of other Scottish chefs. It's a superb glossy cook book with some stunning recipes. Should you wish to purchase a signed copy by Paul you may do so through PayPal.
